Put the following steps of over-speed trip on a turbine in order:
a) Motor speed reduces & centrifugal force is not enough to hold the plunger out against the spring.
b) Overspend trip linkage must be reset, which has to be done externally.
c) Tripping speed is reached & the trip plunger is flung out by centrifugal force/shaft rotation & strikes the spring loaded trip lever.
